PARENT QUESTIONS
Everything you need before starting the quest.
What age group is this best for?
Gaming Safety is designed for Junior Explorers ages 7–10. Short missions and visual choices help children practise protecting private details, spotting scams, handling trade pressure, and asking a trusted grown-up for help. No previous gaming experience is needed.
How long does the whole workshop take?
About 20 minutes in total. The workshop is divided into four focused, five-minute missions, so your family can complete the full quest in one sitting or pause between missions and return later on the same device.
Can we use a tablet or phone, or do we need a computer?
A computer or tablet is recommended because the shared activities, scenarios, and printable resources are easier to explore on a larger screen. The course is also fully responsive on modern phones, so it can still be completed there. Everything runs in the browser—no special app or software download is required.
Does a parent need to complete the workshop too?
We recommend completing these missions with a parent or trusted grown-up. Use the conversation checkpoints to agree on account rules and practise what your child can do if something feels uncomfortable.
What happens after purchase, and is there a subscription?
The Family Pass is a one-time payment with no subscription or hidden renewal. You’ll receive access instructions for the browser-based workshop, and your child does not need to create an account. One pass can be used by the children in your household.
