SAFEQUEST LAB

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how SafeQuest Lab handles information when a parent or guardian visits the website, purchases a family pass, accesses a course, or supports a child through the learning activities.

Information we collect

A parent or guardian may provide a name, email address, order and support details, and billing details. Payments are handled by our checkout or payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

When completing the course access form, the parent or guardian may enter the name they would like shown for the child, such as a first name, nickname or full name. We use it only to personalize the on-screen journey and the completion certificate. You decide what name to use; if you prefer more privacy, a first name or nickname works just as well.

The certificate can be downloaded, printed and shared by you. Once downloaded, it's in your hands, and how it's shared is your decision.

Course progress and the display name are saved in the browser on the device being used.

If you submit a review, we collect the rating and comments you provide. If we display a review publicly, we show only the reviewer's initials (for example, "A.R., parent") and never a full name, email address or a child's details. Please don't include a child's name or other identifying information in your comments.

Course access and progress stored in your browser

SafeQuest Lab may store the selected learning pathway, explorer first name or nickname, course-access status, activity completion, and certificate progress locally in the browser. This is not a child account. Local progress can disappear if browser data is cleared, a different browser or device is used, or private browsing is enabled.

How we use information

We use information to process and confirm purchases, provide course access and downloadable resources, personalize the certificate, remember progress, respond to support or refund requests, send essential course communications, maintain security, and improve the learning experience. Promotional email is sent only where permitted and may be unsubscribed from at any time.

Children’s privacy

SafeQuest Lab is designed for families with children aged 7–14, but purchase, access setup, and support are intended to be handled by a parent or guardian. We do not ask children to create a SafeQuest Lab account or directly provide contact details. Parents should supervise participation to ensure a safe learning experience.

Third-party platforms and service providers

The website and purchase flow rely on trusted service providers for website hosting, checkout and payment processing, email delivery, file delivery, analytics, and customer support. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

We may use essential cookies or similar browser storage to operate the site, remember course access and progress, and protect the service. Hosting or analytics providers may also collect technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, referring page, and site interactions. Any non-essential analytics or marketing tools will only be used with your consent.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, and you may withdraw marketing consent. Clearing browser data removes locally stored course progress from that browser.

Contact and policy updates

For privacy questions, deletion requests, or concerns involving a child’s information, contact SafeQuest Lab at support@safequestlab.com. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change; the latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
